This September the art director of a film
production company contacted me via my
Flickr.com page to ask if I would like to license
a print of my drawing, "Combat Boots" for use
as set decoration in the film, "The Men Who
Stare At Goats," a George Clooney film which
is currently filming. At first, I was a little
skeptical that this might be a con. It turned out
to be a legitimate opportunity.
The print (shown at right) will be displayed in a
scene in a military office. The image of my
original combat boots drawing (the middle
image below) gets 2-3 hits a day on Google. In
the past three months Combat Boots has
been viewed nearly 600 times - amazing when
you consider all the artwork on the Internet.
